Otomi embroidery gained more popular exposure in the 60s when economic strains and famine forced the indigenous communities to utilise traditional handicrafts as a form of encome.
Each piece is hand embroidered in Mexico and made into cushions here by us at Blackout with Malaysian fabrics on the reverse.
