Cobras/serpents are a significant symbol in the North of India, seen to act as guardians in both this life and the next. Most vitally warn to protect against bites and honour the medicinal uses of its venom.
But in this trip we also learnt of a temple near Jaisalmer which is dedicated to lord Shivas Serpent in which it's devotees where these pendants, hence the rarity.🐍🐍🐍
