Made by hand from paper mache, these snouts are created for the many hindu festivals in India. A dying art that it sadly being pushed out by the mass produced plastic alternatives coming from China. We always trying to source handmade items and keep these traditions alive, but as most of these aren't made now in Delhi, these are mainly vintage.
These can be worn, all move and open with your mouth ,but are delicate , they look fabulous hung on statues or added to masks too!!
These are genuine folk art pieces, and mostly vintage, and so are very rustic, and have tears and paint rubbing, so are not perfect!
